The Cloak Ox - "Wax Museum"
Great song of the day selection my musician friend Mark Edwards of MGKvsBRD.
According to Mark, “One of my favorite bands from back in the early 2000s was FOG. While members rotated a bit, the line-up that really hit me was Andy Broder, Martin Dosh, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Mark Erickson, and Mike Lewis. I saw a show they put on that I’d still rank in my top 5 of all time. The Cloak Ox is that same band—minus Lewis—and is driven from Broder’s writing, of which I’m a big fan. This band is a little more straight forward but still every bit as inspirational to me as a writer. On this song, I especially appreciate Ylvisaker’s ability to make that guitar cry. Brilliant!”
